Today is a day of rest and errands.  Blaze, the Sweeper and I took the bus to Walmart, the Post Office, and the grocery store to resupply.  The hiker box had enough to resupply the one and only Dunkeroo.<\/div>\n

I have three full days of food to get us to our next resupply point, the Nantahala Outdoor Center, commonly called the NOC.  There is rain coming in starting at 2 p.m., so we hope to get out there on the first shuttle at 8:30 a.m.<\/div>\n

The goal is 8.8 miles on the shorter day.  It’s going to start with 4 miles of climb.  A stretch goal is 11.2.  We’ll see how we feel.  Everyone has fresh legs, full stomachs, and no injuries.  While we wait for the race to start, we chill and watch some tournament basketball.<\/div>\n
